Union Health Ministries Department of Health Research (DHR)- Sexual Assault Guidelines

Union Health Ministries Department of Health Research (DHR) along with Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) with the help of experts formulated set of guidelines entitled "FORENSIC MEDICAL CARE FOR VICTIMS OF SEXUAL ASSAULT -A Tool Kit for Health Care Workers" for dealing with sexual assault cases, which will hopefully put an end to the 'horrendous' medical process, which the victims are subjected to after the sexualvabuse. Responsibility to draft these guidelines was given to me by DHR. These were issued on 16.12.2013.
