MH Governments BANNED three decades old practice of unnecessary collection of semen sample of rape accused: Move on his Representation & Study Report.

Government of Maharashtra- Home Department issued direction to stop 30 year old unnecessary practice of  collection of semen of the rape accused by the doctors on the request of police. This move came on the study report submitted by him to the Union and State Ministries of Home and Health in 2012  to stop this practice which was prevalent all over the country.

Govt of Maharashtra: Sexual Assault Forensic Medical Exam Formats and Manual. Govt developed all these formats and material on the directions of Bombay High Court-Nagpur bench on PIL filed on his STUDY REPORT. New guidelines for cops: Sexual Assault / rape Cases: Government of Maharashtra (Home department)  issued new guidelines for cops probing rape cases. This move came on 64 page study report entitled "unnecessary, unscientific and legally irrelevant questions by the cops to the doctors at the time of forensic medical examination of sexual assault cases"  submitted by him to the Union and State ministries of Home and Health in 2011.
