It is a proud privilege to share that I was part of the Expert Panel of National Medical Commission (#NMC ) under the guidance of President UG Medi Edu Board of NMC, Dr Aruna Vanikar Madam.
NMC has taken following decisions in relation to LGBTQIA+ community on the recommendations of Expert panel.
1) Modifications in CBME curriculum of subjects of FMT and Psychiatry.
2) Banning conversion therapy to change the sexual orientation of the person from #Homosexual and/or #bisexual to #heterosexual.
The High Court of Madras also appreciated the efforts taken by the NMC panel to bring the changes on the various issues pertaining to LGBTQIA community.
